For teams working with non-Latin content, we've added proper slug generation for Cyrillic text. Page URLs and identifiers are now generated correctly regardless of the language used in your designs.

PHP 8 Compatibility

All generated themes are now fully compatible with PHP 8.x. If your hosting environment runs the latest PHP versions, your Yotako themes will work without deprecation warnings or errors.

Flip Support

Horizontally and vertically flipped elements in Figma now render correctly in the generated theme. Mirror effects, flipped icons, and reversed layouts all come through as expected.

Hyperlinks on Any Element

Previously, hyperlinks could only be applied to text elements. Now, any node type — images, shapes, groups, containers — can carry hyperlinks. If you've linked a card or button group in Figma, that link will be preserved in WordPress.

We've parallelized image processing, introduced chunked serialization for large designs, and batched screenshot operations. The result is noticeably faster conversions, especially for design files with many images or complex components. What used to take minutes now takes seconds.

Better SVG Handling

Complex vector shapes are now handled with greater precision. We've improved LINE detection and BOOLEAN_OPERATION exports, which means intricate icons, logos, and illustrations convert more faithfully to your WordPress theme.

Image Caching

The plugin now uses content-hash-based caching for images. If you convert the same design multiple times (common during iteration), images that haven't changed are skipped entirely. This dramatically speeds up repeated conversions during your design refinement process.

Prototype Interactions

Figma prototype links are now extracted and preserved in the output. If you've set up click-through interactions in your Figma prototype, those navigation links will carry over to your WordPress theme automatically.

Improved Stability

We've added automatic retry on Figma API rate limits, better error recovery when the Figma API responds unexpectedly, and improved crash reporting so we can fix issues faster. The plugin is now more resilient during long or complex conversions.

1. Go to your Google Account by clicking on your profile picture and selecting "Manage your Google Account".
2. In the Google Account settings, search for "App passwords" in the search bar.
3. Click on "App passwords" from the search results.
4. Enter your professional email address that you want to link woth Gmail (e.g., hi@yotako.space) and click "Create".
5. Copy the code generated by Google .
   

Step 6: Verify Your Professional Email

1. Go back to the SMTP configuration window in Gmail.
2. Paste the app password into the password field.
3. Click "Add Account".

Step 7: Confirm Your Email Address

1. Now, go to your inbox, and you should have received a message from the Gmail Team to confirm your setup.
2. Open the email and click on the confirmation link provided.
3. Click "Confirm" on the redirected page to finalize the setup.

Step 8: Test Your Setup

1. Compose: Click "Compose" in Gmail.
2. Choose Sender: In the "From" field, select your professional email address (e.g., hi@yotako.space).
3. Send a Test Email: Send an email to yourself to verify that it works!
